Take a walk around the aviaries to meet all the birds. After getting to know the team you will get the chance to handle and fly some of these magnificent birds. This experience will get you up close and personal to a range of owls, hawks and falcons.

Wilsthire Falconry is a private centre and not open to the public and offer various experiences to suit your requirements, a real hands on experience. They are not like the larger centres and do not do big groups so you get our undevided attention and more time flying and handling the birds. It is located on a working farm not far from Stonehenge and have over 800 acres to fly on if required.  

Falconry is a sport that involves the use of trained birds of prey to hunt game for humans. Although falconry is also known as hawking, in modern falconry buzzards are most commonly used.

Falconry has become more popular particularly as a sport of kings. It was reputedly the favourite sport of every King of England from Alfred the Great to George III except for James I who spent much of his time training cormorants and ospreys to catch fish.
